The band is composed by Bono, Jimi Hendrix, Michael Steele and John Bonham. These men shared their childhood while living in the same neighborhood. Bono was always singing and writing new songs even though he didn’t have a band. Jimi spent all of his available days playing the guitar in his bedroom and going out to bars or places where a guitarist was needed. Michael Steele got a Yamaha drum set in his 3rd birthday and since then, he couldn’t stop playing it. He was 18 years old and he still played his old Yamaha drum set, only because it reminded him of his father. Johnny discovered his talent on the bass in a high school talent show, some bullies wrote Johnny’s name in the participant list and he had to go and play or he will be the most harassed boy in school.

On a calm normal day where each ‘boy’ was playing his instrument at each one respective houses, Bono’s mom told him that it was enough, ‘either all of you go and play somewhere else or something else will happen’. In the next day, Bono told Jimi, Michael and John about his mama’s words and he insisted that a band had to be made. They all accepted since they were close friends, and initially the band was named Strawberry cupcakes, honoring their moms for their delicious junk food. Three days passed and the crew thought that the name was too gay, so they changed it to Dark Congress, because of the darkly coolly soundly image they wanted to show. The group played whatever that popped in their minds, slow rock, hard rock, rock ballads, alternative rock or just rock. They started playing in ceremonies or friend parties.

It was Eddie Van Halen’s 19th birthday were the band was listened by a talent hunter guy. One week later, Dark Congress signed its first music contract and one 2 days later they put their first album on stores, Dark Side Of The Congress. Since it turned to be a mayor hit, they didn’t take much time on making the second album, Back in Blag and then Dark Congress II. The band went to history several times with the already mention albums, it wasn’t until 2009 where they made their last said album, Loving In All Others. Dark Congress became the richest group of all times with Loving In All Others, seventy percent of the human population bought the disc, this is more than billions of copies sold.

They are now retired and living in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, where the food reminds them of the Strawberry cupcakes of Bono’s mom. Since it’s the best.
